Ease of ParkingVery limited on street parking. Two large main car parks away from the town centre and a smaller one near the bus station. There is limited disabled parking. The Rope Walk is quite sloping. Access to the town cente from the park off Bridge Street is difficult over a canal bridge and the shortest way is via cobbled streets
Unevenness of Walking SurfacesSloping cobbled streets around the centre and in the parking area of the High Street which is sloping and difficult in wet weather.
Levelness or HillinessFairly flat but some sharp hills over the canal bridges
Provision of Adapted Public ToiletsRadar key entry in main car parks. Not specifically signed
General Accessibility of PremisesMost have one step
Provision of Seats in the Streets and Public AreasLimited

Provision for the Visually Disabled CommunityPelican crossings across main streets in the town. Very busy with traffic
