Asthma is a very common condition in which the airway in the lungs tightens up, making breathing out very difficult. This causes a distressing wheeze and rapid breathing and needs prompt mainstream medical attention in order to prevent an inadequate supply of oxygen to the body causing it permanent damage. A proper diagnosis must be made before any treatment is contemplated and you should consult your doctor if you suspect you have asthma. There is often a strong element of allergy involved. Animal dander and dust mites are often responsible
Also helpful may be other allergy linked diseases allergies, hayfever, irritable bowel syndrome, eczema, food intolerance and migraine.
