Naturopathy

Author Information

by mike last modified 2008-10-01 18:18

The basis of naturopathy is that the body has its own balance which is strives to keep. Things which upset this such as unhealthy diet, emotional or physical upset, lack of sleep, fresh air or exercise lead to stress on the body's ability to keep this balance and thus diseases occur. Treatment is a holistic approach directed towards addressing the imbalances. Therefore naturopaths would recommend good food, exercise, herbal remedies and relaxation.
