In healing the healer regards him or herself as a channel between a source of healing energy and the patient whose bodily ills recover as a result of the healing of his or her soul. There are many different theories as to the origin of this energy and many different specific forms of healing.

The qualifications and requirements for a practitioner to be registered may vary markedly from organisation to organisation. We would strongly recommend that you visit the organisation's website to ensure that your chosen practitioner is registered with an organisation which has requirements with which you approve.
