What are Parent Care Problems?
Parent Care Problems
While we consider old age from the point of view of the aged person - and rightly so - we tend to forget that there may be difficulties in the relationships between the older parent and grown-up child. This tension can lead to health problems with either or both parties and their families such as anxiety, depression or anger.
Age does not prevent parents from having problems with money, drugs or alcohol. This can lead to all sorts of unwelcome behaviour from bullying to crime. This can be a major difficulty for their children, who predominantly function as the carers.
