The teen years are a time when potentially the whole family is under strain with the awakening teen sexuality due to the rapidly changing hormones at puberty. This can lead to all sorts of problems for teens, parents, siblings (especially other teens), the extended family and the teenagers themselves such as experimentation with and addiction to drugs or alcohol. These pressures when the adolescent mind and body is maturing at a bewildering speed may lead to relationship breakdown.
Health Issues
Health problems arise at this time and especially depression and schizophrenia may make their appearance and are sadly frequently misdiagnosed. Acne is often at its worst in the teenage years. Bullying is often a problem at this stage of life
