What is Bullying?
Problems of Bullying
Bullying can occur at any age, and in any environment. It can occurs as bullying in schools, bullying in the workplace, to the home for seniors. It is a particularly pernicious form of abuse with the person in a position of power using unpleasant tactics to intimidate others. It is a significant cause of stress, anxiety, depression and can lead to self harm in some cases to the suicide or of the person bullied.
Cyber Bullying
Cyber bullying is a special case of bullying where electronic communication is hi-jacked by the abuser to torment others. This is a particularly common problem in schools and could be extended to grooming for sexual purposes by older people.
