What is Bullying?


Problems of Bullying

Bullying can occur at any age, and in any environment. It can occur as bullying in schools, , to the home for . It is a particularly pernicious form of abuse with the person in a position of power using unpleasant tactics to intimidate others. It is a significant cause of , , and can lead to in some cases to the suicide or of the person bullied.

Cyber Bullying

Cyber bullying is a special case of bullying where electronic communication is hi-jacked by the abuser to torment others. This is a particularly common problem in schools and could be extended to grooming for sexual purposes by older people.
