What is Kinesiology?

Applied Kinesiology, or Muscle Testing, was developed from sound principles.

Its founder, George Goodheart, discovered that our muscles weaken under , be that stress physical, mental or emotional. He also found that each muscle is associated with an energy meridian within the body, and it was already known that each meridian is associated with a different organ in the body and with different emotions.

With this knowledge, a kinesiologist can find out where the problem lies, and by finding what strengthens the muscle again, what is needed to put it right. If the muscle remains strong under the influence of a previous stress, it indicates that the mind/body no longer perceives the stress as such, and can start to function efficiently again. More simply, the symptoms, start to resolve whether they are pain, illness, , , fatigue, underachieving or whatever.

The beauty of this technique is that it can be used successfully to tackle almost any problem, whether physical, mental or emotional, and evidence of its success is its rapid growth as a well respected therapy. Due to its versatility no two kinesiologists will work in exactly the same way. However, they are all working from the same basic premise.
